The Adam Mickiewicz Institute supports a wide range of theatre initiatives, from co-producing and presenting performances at international festivals to organising workshops, publishing professional publications, and facilitating networking opportunities. Together, these activities help foster meaningful partnerships and build lasting relationships that encourage international artistic exchange.

What we do in the field of theatre and performance?  

  • Co-Productions – Oracle dir. Łukasz Twarkowski (Dailes Theatre et al.); Malign Junction (Goodbye, Berlin), chor. Alex Baczyński-Jenkins (ABJ Studio et al.); Cute&Awkward, chor. Wojciech Grudziński (Frascati, Amsterdam); Deeper, dir. Gosia Wdowik (Festival Theaterformen, Germany).

  • International partnerships – Santarcangelo Festival, Bazaar Festival, Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Festival de Otoño, Athens Epidaurus Festival.

  • Supporting emerging directors and choreographers, including Krzysztof Zygucki, Michał Telega, and Aleksandra Jakubczak

  • Promoting diversity and inclusion.

  • Cooperation with cultural institutions in acceding countries. 

  • Networking events.

Collaboration with IAM means:

  • Cooperation in the production of cultural events and projects worldwide. 

  • Support of all valuable initiatives related to the international promotion of Polish culture.

The Adam Mickiewicz Institute (IAM) brings Polish culture to people around the world.
