In 2021, on the centenary of Stanisław Lem’s birth, we draw attention to the fact, that the questions posed by the writer remain valid. How does technology affect people’s lives? Are humans responsible for the world? And finally: what future lies ahead of our planet? These questions are as relevant today as they were in the year Lem was born. Both artists and scientists seek to answer them. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute invites everyone on an extraordinary journey into the world of Stanisław Lem’s thoughts that go beyond literature.
