Conductor Marta Gardolińska, organist Karol Mossakowski, double bassist Krzysztof Firlus, harpsichordist Marcin Świątkiewicz, and the orchestras Arte dei Suonatori, Equilibrium String Quartet, Cohaere Ensemble, and Wrocław Baroque Ensemble – these are the Polish artists whose virtuoso performances of masterpieces by Polish and international composers will be heard in Lyon.
Starting from November 4, the exhibition “Planetary Consciousness. Ecosystems of Care” is open in Manchester at the School of Digital Arts (SODA). The project promotes contemporary Polish digital art and showcases how artists from Poland and Ukraine use new media and technologies to explore the theme of care for the planet. The exhibition is a part of the UK/Poland Season 2025.
Najciekawsze nazwiska współczesnej polskiej fotografii na Paris Photo – jednym z najważniejszych światowych wydarzeń poświęconych fotografii artystycznej. W dniach 13–16 listopada w Grand Palais w Paryżu zaprezentowane zostaną prace m.in. Joanny Rajkowskiej, Diany Lelonek, Zuzanny Janin, Weroniki Gęsickiej, Anety Grzeszykowskiej, Marty Zgierskiej, Marii Michałowskiej, Wojciecha Plewińskiego czy Zofii Rydet.
The Adam Mickiewicz Institute connects Polish culture with people around the world. It fosters lasting interest in Polish culture and art, strengthens the presence of Polish artists on the global stage, initiates innovative projects, and supports international collaboration and cultural exchange.
Poland, not Transylvania, is the homeland of the first vampires – as Łukasz Kozak proves in his book “With Stake and Spade”. It was this anthology of folk beliefs and historical sources that inspired the Copenhagen-based studio Those Eyes to create the video game Real Vampires. The premiere of Real Vampires will take place – not coincidentally – on Halloween, 31 October 2025.
The works of four acclaimed Polish photographers – Zofia Rydet, Anna Beata Bohdziewicz, Teresa Gierzyńska and Aneta Grzeszykowska – will be presented at Northern Ireland’s foremost photography institution, Belfast Exposed. The photographs will be presented across three exhibitions – “In Her Own Image”, “Gathering Time” and “Photo-Diary” – open to the public from 2 October to 18 December 2025.
The exhibition ‘The Amazing Land of Quarks, Elephants & Pierogi’ creates a fascinating story about the Polish language. The exposition combines book illustrations with various artistic forms – from embroidery, textiles and sculptures, to neon lights and video animations. Interactive experience based on artificial intelligence allows visitors to immerse themselves in the Polish language and Poland’s culture.
