Poland-Romania Cultural Season 2024/2025

The Poland-Romania Cultural Season 2024/2025 is a series of artistic events carried out in Poland and Romania over the period of 18 months. It has been made possible owing to the cooperation between the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Romanian Ministry of Culture, and the Romanian Cultural Institute, with the support from the Polish Institute in Bucharest.

Several dozen musical, theatre, film, exhibition, and literary events will be held during the season. Polish artists will appear on the most important festivals, stages and in exhibition spaces in Romania. An extensive programme, scheduled between June 2024 and October 2025, is available on the Adam Mickiewicz Institute’s website.

Visual identification of the Poland-Romania Cultural Season 2024/2025 is a result of collaboration between graphic arts students from Poland and Romania. Diacritical marks characteristic for both languages served as an inspiration for creating the logo. The slogan “We Share a Common Language”, referring to the language of culture that allows gaining extensive knowledge and understanding through the diversity of forms, means of expression and traditions, supplements the visual layer.
