EXPO 2025 – presentation of Polish culture at the World’s Fair

On 13 April 2025 the next EXPO will be inaugurated in Osaka, Japan. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is once again involved in the presentation of Polish culture on the global arena through developing the programme of accompanying events.

The programme to be shown during EXPO 2025 will be carried out in collaboration with the Polish Investment & Trade Agency. The Agency is an entity responsible for the official presence of Poland at EXPO 2025 under the slogan: “Poland. Heritage that Drives the Future.” This slogan will serve as an axis of the narrative about Poland, boasting the legacy of creativity and ability to cope with everyday challenges in the spirit of solidarity.

Cultural events held in the EXPO spaces will contribute to the presentation of Poland as a country of people who are open, curious about the world and full of creative energy. These events will be co-created by female and male artists, thus becoming part of the international dialogue and building a strong message on the value and potential of Polish culture.

For half a year, between April and October 2025, owing to AMI’s support, Polish art and inspirations will be present in galleries, urban spaces and music clubs in the Kansai region.
