The UK/Poland Cultural Season that will take place in 2025 is a common project developed by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, British Council and Polish Cultural Institute in London. The Season’s programme will feature artistic events taking place both in the UK and in Poland, organised as part of the cooperation between cultural institutions from both countries.
The idea behind the extensive series of events is to strengthen mutual relations and invigorate cultural exchange and cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom in such fields as film, theatre, visual arts, classical, contemporary, and jazz music, literature, and design. As part of the Season, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute will organise a number of events in the UK to bring contemporary Polish artistic scene closer to the British public. These events will reinforce the presence of Polish art in British museums, galleries, concert halls, and theatres, as well as on selected music, photography, and design festivals.
The UK/Poland Cultural Season 2025 will trigger a fresh start in the area of cultural relations between both countries. The established relations will bear fruit in the future, yielding new and fascinating actions and projects.
