COMPOSER COLLIDER

Workshops with Ensemble musikFabrik
Cologne

Composer Collider is a workshop series organized for Polish composition students and alumni of Polish music universities by Ensemble musikFabrik and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the Polska Music programme. The aim of the project is to enable young composition talents to exchange ideas, improve their musical language and gain invaluable experience in working with a leading international ensemble that specialises in contemporary music.

The first edition of the project took place in 2012, resulting in the joint commissioning of a new piece by Jarosław Płonka: “lightly touched/heavily pressed”.

Composer Collider 2014 will be held between 11-15 November.
