By accessing or playing THE CURATOR game, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website and in games are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
Except as otherwise set forth herein, Adam Mickiewicz Institute does not guarantee that THE CURATOR game will be available at all times or at any given time or that Adam Mickiewicz Institute will continue to offer THE CURATOR game for any particular length of time.
- Access and Costs
THE CURATOR game is made available to individuals aged 3 or older, but Adam Mickiewicz Institute strongly recommends using THE CURATOR GAME by individuals aged 13 or older considering unknown effects VR in general can have on younger children.
If you are aged 13 but under 18 years of age, you and your parent or guardian must review these Terms of services and the Privacy Policy together. Parents/ guardians are jointly and severally liable for all acts and omissions of their children aged under 18 years when using a THE CURATOR game. Adam Mickiewicz Institute recommends that parents and guardians familiarize themselves with parental controls available on devices they provide to their child and accompany their child if aged under 13 years of age, or the applicable age in your jurisdiction, when online.
By accessing or playing THE CURATOR game, you acknowledge and agree that you will provide at your own cost and expense the THE CURATOR game, Internet or other connection charges, required to access and use the THE CURATOR game. Adam Mickiewicz Institute makes no warranty that the THE CURATOR game can be accessed on all personal computers, games consoles, smartphones, tablets or other devices by means of any specific Internet or other connection provider, or in all countries.
- License
Adam Mickiewicz Institute grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive license to use the CURATOR game for your non-commercial use. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this license granted to use THE CURATOR game is non-transferable. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense THE CURATOR game. You may not copy (except as expressly permitted by this license and any other applicable terms, conditions, or usage rules), decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of THE CURATOR game, any updates, or any part thereof (except as and only to the extent allowed by applicable law or to the extent as may be permitted by the licensing terms governing use of any open sourced components included with the licensed application). You may not remove or alter Adam Mickiewicz Institute’s or its licensors trademarks or logos, or legal notices included in THE CURATOR game or related assets. Any attempt to use THE CURATOR game in breach of these terms of service is a violation of the rights of Adam Mickiewicz Institute’s and its licensors.
The license granted under these terms of service is effective until terminated by you or Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Upon termination of the license, You shall cease all use of the CURATOR Game, and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the CURATOR game.
- Disclaimer
- The materials in THE CURATOR game are provided on an ‘as is’ basis. Adam Mickiewicz Institute makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
- All title, ownership, and intellectual property rights in and to the CURATOR game (including, but not limited to, any titles, trademarks, service marks, and trade names, computer code, themes, objects, characters, character names, stories, dialog, catch phrases, locations, concepts, artwork, animations, sounds, musical compositions, audio-visual effects, methods of operation, moral rights, and any related documentation) are owned by Adam Mickiewicz Institute and/or Adam Mickiewicz Institute's licensor(s). The CURATOR game is licensed, not sold, for your use. Your license confers no title or ownership in this CURATOR game and should not be construed as a sale of any rights in the CURATOR game
- Adam Mickiewicz Institute does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on THE CURATOR game or otherwise relating to it.
- Limitations
In no event shall Adam Mickiewicz Institute or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use THE CURATOR game or the materials related to it on Adam Mickiewicz Institute's website, even if Adam Mickiewicz Institute or an Adam Mickiewicz Institute’s authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
- Accuracy of materials
The materials appearing in THE CURATOR game could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Adam Mickiewicz Institute does not warrant that any of the website or in games materials are accurate, complete or current. Adam Mickiewicz Institute may make changes to the materials contained on its website or in games at any time without notice. However, Adam Mickiewicz Institute does not make any commitment to update the materials.
- Modifications
Adam Mickiewicz Institute may revise these terms of service for THE CURATOR game at any time without notice. By playing THE CURATOR game, you agree to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
- Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
- Indemnification from harm, bodily or otherwise
You acknowledge that neither Adam Mickiewicz Insitute nor THE CURATOR’s game making team is not responsible directly or indirectly for any bodily or psychological harm and property damage you may experience while using THE CURATOR game.
- Modifications of the CURATOR game
Adam Mickiewicz Insitute may change THE CURATOR game at any time without notice to You to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements (for example, to address a security threat) or to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements. These changes will not negatively affect Your use of THE CURATOR game. Adam Mickiewicz Institute may also update or require You to update THE CURATOR game, provided that any such updates do not result in material derogation in the functionality of THE CURATOR game.
In addition, Adam Mickiewicz Institute may also make other changes to THE CURATOR game by giving You a reasonable prior notice. If You are not happy with those changes, You may contact Adam Mickiewicz Institute to terminate Your license before the changes take effect.
- Termination
Adam Mickiewicz Institute may terminate the license granted to you under these Terms of service and/or suspend, modify, or delete your account at any time without giving you any prior notice if you seriously violate these Terms of service.
If you think that such decision was taken wrongly, you can contact Adam Mickiewicz Institute at [email protected]. If Adam Mickiewicz Institute cannot resolve your complaint and you are a resident of the European Union, you can also use the online dispute resolution platform set up by the European Commission which you can access at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
- Bug fixes and ticket handling
- THE CURATOR game developer is obliged to remove errors throughout the warranty period (2 years).
- Errors are understood as: improper functioning of the game or its elements that prevent the implementation of any of the functions (such as launching and playing the game without the need to perform additional actions, i.e. restarting, reinstalling, blocking in one of the game scenes).
- The game errors are not understood as: improper functioning of the game or its elements resulting from the incompatibility of the game with versions of operating systems, VR environments, or VR devices and their software other than the current version at the time of publishing the game on the content distribution platforms.
- The content distribution platform or user may inform the developer about the error by e-mail ([email protected]) and, if necessary, provide explanations necessary for their identification. The report should contain as detailed a description of the Error as possible.
- The time of reporting a failure is counted from the moment the Error is reported by the content distribution platform or the user sends a message to a provided email address.
- The game errors will be removed by updating the game on content distribution platforms. The developer undertakes to update the game with the resolved error on the following dates:

Critical errors are errors leading to the break or interruption of the game's operation, as a result of which it is impossible to properly use the game or its essential part.
Significant errors are errors that make it difficult to use the game but do not stop its operation.
Insignificant errors are understood as: result in minor defects in the visual or sound layer of the game, however, which do not affect the possibility and quality of the game.
- In the event of a critical or significant failure:
- The content distribution platform or the user shall immediately inform the developer about the failure to a provided email address.
- The developer will inform the content distribution platform or user about solving the problem by e-mail
- After the failure is removed by the developer, the content distribution platform or the user will confirm this fact by e-mail.
- The developer will introduce the necessary modifications to the System Documentation, provided that there have been changes to the game.
- In the event of an insignificant failure:
- The content distribution platform or the user will inform the developer about the failure to a provided email address.
- If the problem lies with the developer, the developer will immediately start actions aimed at solving the problem that caused the failure
- The developer, after fixing the problem, will complete the failure data by providing:
1. probable causes of failure
2. failure duration
- The developer will inform the content distribution platform or the user about solving the problem by e-mail
- The content distribution platform or the user will confirm the repair of the problem and close the application.
- The developer will introduce the necessary modifications to the System Documentation, provided that there have been changes to the application.
- The error repair time specified in the warranty is counted from the moment of reporting the failure until its removal, confirmed by the content distribution platform or the user.
- The times included in the table mean the total time elapsed from the moment of reporting the failure until its removal. The times are given in tables do not add up. The delay on the part of the content distribution platform or the user in confirming the fact of repairing the failure is not added to the time of servicing the failure if the failure has been removed.
Privacy policy
Adam Mickiewicz Institute respects your privacy.
Adam Mickiewicz Institute does not collect, and therefore use, communicate, disclose, or otherwise make use of any personal information in relation to downloading and usage of THE CURATOR - DEMO game.
Adam Mickiewicz Institute collects your data only when the content distribution platform or the user contacts the game developer by e-mail ([email protected]) due to improper functioning of the game or its elements (read more in Terms of Service). In such case collected data are processed along with below Privacy Policy:
